This rare and much sought after Delvaux miniature "Piccadilly Circus" is no longer available for purchase at Delvaux. It was produced in limited pieces as part of the "so british" collection, with its original purpose to celebrate the new London's store launch in Bond Street. In very Delvaux discrétion and fashion, it evokes the famous Piccadilly circus landmark in its name, but links the visual image to another iconic London cultural icon: the Sir Gilbert Scott's 1923 designed vibrant red art deco style K2 phone booth - which by its architectural thinking and period is reminiscent of the architecture much found in Belgium also.
The miniature considers with wit and charm all the elements required to give a "ring" to your bag and charm or spice up your life - british style.
