In 1957 Franz Schwennicke, the ex family owner of Delvaux, designed this small doctorbag for his wife Solange. It was part of the Spring collection entitled "les oiseaux" (the birds). This vintage Delvaux is a head turner, given it's from the 50's the leather quality is amazing, with a never out of style look. Definitely you will not run into another one like this on a day to day basis. (Recently returned from the Delvaux spa where it also was authenticated.)
