This is the Delvaux Brillant that you do not see every day. At first glance, it is difficult to decide exactly what the Cristal de Roche wants to be - is it a handbag? A traveller’s satchel? A backpack? - We love it and this is probably part of its charm.
Created around the turn of the millennium, the Cristal de Roche comes from the inventive moment in Delvaux creative history when the Maison took its familiar vocabulary and did something completely unexpected with it. The result is a beautifully constructed leather rucksack, which was given the details of a proper Delvaux Brillant handbag - but when turning it around it then transform into a backpack. Wether for the office or for day to day wear it adds a je ne sais quoi to any outfit and thereby it is a shame not to see this piece in production already anymore for many years - making it hence even more of a rare and happy encounter.
