Designed by Madame Deshayes for Delvaux's spring 1969 collection and crafted in a warm camel hue, the colour of sunlit stone and timeless wardrobes, this bag feels as relevant today as it did over half a century ago. The box calf leather is everything the heart desires: smooth, luminous, almost architectural and captures the light in a way only true craftsmanship can. The Frivole does not shout luxury; it assumes it whilst in addition anticipating the future. 

Long before it became a common standard, this bag was designed to be worn as a crossbody, - just sitting on the hip—exactly the way women in the 70s would begin to wear their independence. Hands free. 

Already in 1969 this bag was outliving decades of fashion styles - and still remains untouched by time. Some pieces justify their price through rarity. Others through craftsmanship. This one truly does both—whilst also building on old memories to create new ones.
