In 1977 Delvaux created this chic red top handle, as part of their la mer collection. Crafted in sublime and smooth box calf leather, it sticks to you like a glove you never wish to take off. James Percival has a beautiful way of describing it:
"deep in the wave is a coral grove, where the purple mullet, and gold-fish rove, where the sea-flower spreads its leaves of blue (...)"
This little wonder can be carried across the arm, in hand and at times across the shoulder. The bag has multiple compartments and carries the signature shift lock of the 70s - a beautiful classic. It is in overall good condition inside and out with only minor signs of wear and its box calf leather has a wonderful glow of healthy age. This is an everyday day bag or an evening get-away. In any case a craftsmanship and an accessory companion to take your breath away.
