This unique1966 mini top handle bag created for Delvaux's Hippisme spring summer collection is another masterclass in architectural handbag design of Paule Goethals the creator of the Delvaux Brillant. Very hard to source, it carries the elegant name of a horse harness, very fitting for this collection and extremely fitting for this wonderful design in navy high class selected box calf leather.

Looking, touching and carrying the bag, one can visualise easily the creative spirit that went into the making of this special piece, whose craftsmanship is nothing but impressive. With this piece, one does not just carry a simple rare handbag - it epitomises an emotion. One can step into the world of the horse competitions....strolling along to the betting station at the week's races, one can feel the pumping of the breath of the animals and the clatter of the horses come alive in ones mind, whilst selecting the lucky and winning draw-number. For us this is more than just a rare - impossible to find - bag, cute and standing out, it is probably the most emotional piece of, what we believe, is one of the best Delvaux collections made in time, its Hippisme collection. It just comes as a premium bonus that it has also been designed by what is probably their most well known handbag architect in her best years of creative elysium.
