Delvaux vintage top handle green 1966

Created in 1966, this Delvaux "Chablis" is the predecessor of its relaunched interpretation in 1996. A rare piece to find in the market especially in the limited green colour it captures the essence of Belgian luxury at its most discreet within this decade. Belgium in the mid-1960s favoured understatement over excess. In small Brussels cafés and along city streets, elegance revealed itself through proportion, quality, and quiet confidence.
