In 2011 affluent belgian designer and then Delvaux artistic director Veronique Branquino evoked the essence of a strong woman by designing a last collection before leaving Delvaux of daily usage bags for the dynamic & stylish woman. With 5 bags initially designed (Lundi, Mercredi, Vendredi, Samedi & Dimanche), the vanille coloured Delvaux "Mercredi" (Wednesday) bag, was one of the centre pieces of the "toujours" ("always") collection and impressed by its sluggish and spacious look and feel.
Overall it is in good condition (please refer pics) and despite some interior penmarks and signs of usage on the leather, this bag truly impresses by its timeless simplicity, as well as by its practical use as an every day get-around and work bag.
