Crafted from exquisite crocodile porosus leather for its 1954 autumn winter collection this piece of handbag jewellery was crafted by Madame de Dryver in a period, where - unlike today - not every woman was carrying a handbag. Fashionable to its core the bag displays incredible difficult craftsmanship in the architecture of its leather - its rounded edges and the inlayed - fully Delvaux crafted lock. Made to carry close to body as it was fashionable at the time, or modernly slung across the shoulder , this stunning bag sets you back in time - but in some way also does not. IT dresses beautifully modern in just t-shirt and jeans casually dangling on your shoulder. Having enjoyed a spa, having been authenticated with Delvaux - its craftsmanship and excellent condition - considering its 70 years of youth - it is alive and pumping - ready for its new journey.

Both exterior and Interior in excellent vintage condition with only minor signs of usage. Stemming from 1954 this bag is in great state considering the over 70 years of age and especially after enjoying the bag spa. Thr hardware shows slight signs of use. Delvaux also authenticated this piece which allows us to place her exactly into its historic context. Please refer to detailed pictures.
