This unique Delvaux model of the spring 1965 collection was designed by Brillant & Tempete architect Paule Goethals.

Well in advance of the toile de cuir bags Delvaux designed from the mid 70s this 1965 bag already played with the idea by utilising overstitched leather strips. Paule Goethals really was a forward thinker in this sense establishing through this bag a timeless trend, which has carried through in the Maison up to this date. Very fittingly the bag carries the name of the bird delivering kids, so like Niks Holgerson it flies into the future.
It is a very unique and rare bag to find and as a true collector item, in overall good condition, On the handle some slight detachment is visible, which however in no matter diverts from the functional usage or visual aspect of this very special and unique piece.
